职位描述

As part of a dynamic international corporate team, this position will contribute to productivity by using the analytics tools with purchasing strategies and negotiations. These analytics tools are called Should Cost which help purchasing to evaluate what the price of a part/component/service should be.

This position has matrix reporting with solid line to Should Cost Digitalization Manager and Dotted Line Should Cost Manager – EE & EMS.

The focus area will be on Electronics & Electrical (EE) and PCBA purchasing market.

The scope will be global covering all the regions (APAC, EMEA, North & South Americas). Working as a bridge between different purchasing groups, Manufacturing and R&D (for technical expertise).

Responsibilities:

Responsible for EE/PCBA Globally (G8, G1, G2, G4, G7) to meet assigned for Should Cost Coverage and Gap Identification and weekly reporting.

Conduct spend analysis and diagnose costing needs and potentials with category managers and build up costing plan according to category strategy and supply base complexities.
Conduct Should Cost analysis using analytic tools and methods to identify productivity opportunities for the EE & PCBA purchasing commodities.
Jointly with Sr. Manager, lead the Digitization of existing PCBA Clean Sheet as well as Benchmark/Common Parts analysis.
Communicate results and opportunities of Clean Sheet analysis to Should Cost manager and/or Global procurement communities.
Support the creation and execution of gap closure roadmap with Should Cost manager.
Support negotiations using Should Cost tools as analytics expert. Participate in negotiations using should cost tools as analytics expert together with category and purchasing team.
Support capability building initiative to purchasers through training, workshop, joint work, etc. Identify and share best practices on analytics and share them with procurement communities.
Support regional projects, Such as “Purchasing Out Of China”, “Quality Value Engineering”, “Localization”, “Change Of Supplier”, “Make or Buy” …

Qualifications:

Be dynamic, innovative, curious, and like facts & numbers.
Solid analytical skills (Expert level for Excel, Access, PowerPoint), project management skills and Strong problem-solving skills.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in costing, purchasing analytics
Bachelor degree in Engineering and EE engineering/manufacturing background (knowledge of the electronics components, and manufacturing basics and cost structure)
Self-starter and have demonstrated your autonomy in past projects
Desirable: Big Data Analytics conceptual understanding (large databases) to eliminate tedious-tactical tasks.
Well organized and multi-tasking
Work as a team player and Exposure to different cultures to support global needs.
Strong influencer and good communicator, fluent in English.
