PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Global Library team is a Corporate team managing global ECAD and MCAD libraries for worldwide business and global R&D centers.

The Global Library team is responsible for defining Corporate CAD modeling standard and global CAD library collaboration process, providing added value expertise to global R&D engineers, managing Corporate CAD model delivery and quality, and driving the global CAD library networks.

Main Responsibilities

Participate and drive the ECAD library, ECAD and MCAD synchronization process based on next generation PDM structure.

Lead and drive global collaborative ECAD library network & community.

Lead or participate to global cross-function projects as global library representative.

Provide training and coaching to world wild ECAD library user about corporate modeling rules and process.

Define the corporate modeling rule for multi-CAD tools. (eg: Cadence, Xpedition…).

Manage global ECAD library service, ensure the lead time and quality of the MCAD models.

Opportunities

Developing ECAD, MCAD and manufacturing knowledge and competency.

Exposure to global R&D team.

Requirements of professional experience

Bachelor degree or above with major of electronic engineering or relevant major.

5+ years working experience in ECAD domain (Electronic design, PCB design, or ECAD library…)

Expert in using Cadence tools (ConceptHDL, Allegro, ADW) and experience of using other ECAD tools (eg: Mentor graphic…).

Knowledge or working experience of manufacturing and knowledge of IPC standard.

Knowledge or working experience of joint design between ECAD and MCAD.

Experience of project leader would be a plus.

Experience of MCAD modeling tool and process would be a plus.
