Responsibility:
* Technical liaison between customer and Polycom.
* Available to work standard and non-standard work weeks and work hours with very limited advance notice.
* Provides onsite orientation training on newly installed products.
* Maintain and update CRM database weekly as needed.
* Create detailed customer specific Methods of Procedure for each job and meet with customer and internal resources to gain consensus on timeline.
* Display affective professional leadership of teams. Responsibilities include the ability to train and develop lesser skilled team members and third party teams to insure team continuity and success,
generally done "on the job" or during an actual install.
* Pre stage installations in customer provided staging area upon start of installation.
* During an install have a short meeting at the start of each day with the install team reviewing plan for the day and insuring compliance with Telepresence Installation Methods and Procedures.
* Manage own personal travel and business expenses in the most cost efficient manner.
* Engage in longer term project planning with assigned customers when required.
* Perform responsibilities of technical lead for the Telepresence product line to include interfacing with Product Management and Sales.

Qualification:
*7 + years of proven customer management skills.
* Prior field service experience including extensive travel and support of multiple products.
* Previous experience working with and installing video conferencing / telephony hardware.
* Solid working knowledge of Polycom's suite of products.
* Strong knowledge of data communications networks.
* Strong Windows skills.
* Very strong equipment or furniture assembly skills or have the ability to learn and execute.
* Very strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to relate in a highly professional manner with customers, management and peers under various working conditions.
* Must have the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a remote environment with little direct supervision.
* Must have the ability to travel domestically or internationally 50% of the time or more and work odd and irregular hours.
