电子元器件工程师

Description of Position:

Technology Standardization Management (TSM) provides up-to-date component and material offers with expertise for Schneider Design, Continuous Engineering, Manufacturing and Purchasing globally. The Technology Standardization Engineer (Electronic) will join the TSM organization (Asia Pacific Region) Business Support Team, report to Passive Electronic Technical Manager, the engineer will take charge of the mainly passive electronic component technology and some electromechanical component technology first. The engineer will have opportunity to develop expertise on other technologies in future according to business need and the engineer’s potential.

The engineer will work closely with other standardization leaders or standardization engineers in China, France and USA, the engineer will mainly support the R&D designers in Asia Pacific region (China, Singapore, Australia, India, Japan, etc) and may support EU/NA regions. The engineer may have to participate to national or international travels in Schneider R&D centers, Manufacturing plants or Suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to R&D engineer for the electric component selection, application, anticipation and innovation, quality issue and risk analysis etc, furthermore propose risk mitigation plan, alternative solution etc.
• Contribute and Promote Schneider Electric technical rules and best practices related to electronics component by writing guidelines / directives or making presentation among Schneider Electric entities
• Follow the evolutions of supplier offers and technology trend on the market, Prospect suppliers offer and roadmap in order to identify new solutions for our products.
• Contribute to the definition of the global purchasing strategy
• Manage the corporate component database
• Support and contribute to other assigned tasks

• Educational Background:  Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electro mechanical engineering and etc.
• 3-5 years of successful experience as Electronics Component Engineer, Electronic Design Engineer or Field Application Engineer is preferred
• Solid knowledge of electronic component especially on Passive components (For example, Resistor, etc.),  Electromechanical components (For example, connector, etc.) ,  good knowledge of other electronic will be a strong plus.
• Solid Knowledge of the worldwide market, suppliers and technology trend of passive components.
• International experience is preferred (study or work experience abroad)
• Excellent communications skills, including written and spoken English
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a worldwide and international team
