Key Accountabilities

• To review, draft and negotiate legal documents and contracts for the Group's day to day operation in China

-Contract drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing

-Ecommerce projects would be priorities

• To provide legal advices and solutions to all brands (16 in China) and service divisions (Finance & Controlling, HR, Customer Service, Logistics, IT, Corporate Affairs etc.)

-Compliance consulting

-HR and CS cases

-Operation review

• To represent company’s interest in defined legal proceedings.

-Representing the Company in court proceedings, before ordinary and arbitration courts etc.

-Representing the Company's interest before local authorities, associations, commissions, as well as vis-a-vis clients and suppliers (HR disputes, consumers disputes, AIC visits etc.)

-Working with external counsels and agencies when in need.

• To support Legal Manager and HQ Legal Department in assigned projects.

-IPR protection works.

-Special cases.

Requirements

• Retail, Ecommerce or Law Firm service background
• Law firm or multi-national company in-house counsel practice experience. Law firm experience is very much preferred.
• More than 3-5 years working experience in legal service.
• Bachelor or Master degree in law. Master degree is very much preferred.
• National Judicial Examination Certificate
• Excellent command of English and Chinese language skills
• Good command of office software: Word, Excel, PPT
