Essential Responsibilities
• Responsible for power subsystem design for C-arm system, include PDU(Power Distribution Unit), backup battery and charger, AC/DC, DC/DC power supply. Also responsible for X-ray generator improvement and design, including high voltage transformer, invertor, filament driver, etc.
• Lead electrical design review for design solutions, concept, test plan and result to identify and fix design issues.
• Engaging in all phases of new product introduction, including architecture, documentation, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.
• Perform electrical parts failure mode analysis, signals integrality, logic timing and analog tolerance analysis and simulation.
• Responsible for board/subsystem level integration test and involved into EMC, reliability and verification test.

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Role Summary/PurposeThe Power Electrical Engineer will work with a cross-functional program team to deliver mobile C-arm products for the global market. This position will be responsible for designing power subsystem and X-ray generator solutions, also need to involve in product definition, architecture buildup, and investigates new techniques as part of a team.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. MS in Power Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
2. At least 4 years engineering experience in power electrical design.
3. Demonstrated strong design capabilities in at least two of these areas: AC/DC,DC/DC power supply, power transformer, variable-frequency driver, invertor, UPS, PFC
4. Working experience in power circuit debug and EMC improvement.
5. Solid experience in power circuit simulation tools and PCB design tools including Saber, Cadence.
6. Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills

Desired Characteristics

1. PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
2. Experiences in X-ray generator or medical device power design.
3. Effective oral and written communication skills, global project experience will be plus.
4. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
5. Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities
