Essential Responsibilities
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
1. Drive test platform/process standardization across the value stream.

Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Knowledge and understanding of document control, design transfer, verification, validation, acceptance activity, DMR, DHR and electronic signature requirements to ensure that product, equipment, tools, processes, software, training and documentation meet requirements

Role Summary/Purpose
Opportunity to join a growing, global, world class team of high performing technical experts impacting product quality and process excellence across our Global Supply Chain. The Test engineer will provide technical support for key manufacturing test productivity & new product introduction (NPI) projects across GE Healthcare's Imaging Value Stream.

Qualifications/Requirements
1. Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
2. 5+ years of industrial experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated experience leading the deployment of test equipment, tooling, test methods, and business or industry best practices
3. Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects, with special focus on design for testability, manufacturing productivity, technology, and automation
4. Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization
5. Demonstrated strategic thinker; strong influencing skills; resourceful and inclusive. Comfortable working thru pushback
6. Experience working with global teams
7. Willingness to travel up to 10%

Desired Characteristics
1. 10+ years industrial experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Test Engineering
2. Experience or knowledge of National Instruments LabView, TestStand, LabWindows CVI, PXI based test equipment, or other complementary test software and hardware architectures
3. 6-sigma DMAIC BB/MBB certified
4. Experience in HLA and Process Intensive manufacturing
5. Product and Process Development experience
6. Solid working knowledge of GE Healthcare's QMS procedures for GMP
7. Experience driving big ROI manufacturing productivity projects
8. Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (i.e. medical, aviation)
