Essential Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:
§ Ownership of the NCR and MRB processes. Interface with SQE on supplier related defects
§ Lead analysis of defect data and CAPA creation / resolution and maintain records as specified by the GEHC quality system
§ Conduct root cause analysis on product quality issues, identify trends
§ Reduction of MRB and non-conforming material inventory
§ Ownership of PSRs and PQRs
§ Develop/maintain validated Standard Operating Procedures for calibration.
§ Perform unscheduled calibrations as needed to minimize equipment down time. Assist in reviewing equipment found out of tolerance and its affects on production.
§ Develop/maintain records of resulting calibrations. Analyze results and make recommendations regarding the need for corrective action or preventative action (CAPA).
§ Review requests for calibration of new test equipment to ensure that equipment is adequate for both the calibration and production processes. May assist in process analysis related to measurement/calibration practices, in new equipment/process validation and installation.

Role Summary/Purpose

Provide technical support to improve product quality& calibration. This position will focus on product quality through data analysis& issue resolution, calibration process improvement. This person will be responsible for driving the NC process and root cause investigation, responsible for coordinating all calibration activities for the product/site.

Qualifications/Requirements

Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action
4. Knowledge and understanding of production process work instructions and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specifications, ensure equipment conforms to specifications

Qualifications:
1. Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 2 years of product quality /supply chain/ diagnostics/ repair experience or Test environment
2. Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes
3. Working knowledge of metrology, calibration instruments and data based computer applications.
4. Ability to analyze data, determine root cause and make recommendations for CAPA.
5. Strong communication skills, verbal and written in local/English language
6. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, Minitab, etc.

1. Green Belt Certified
2. Lean manufacturing experience
3. Demonstrated analytical, process management skills
