Essential Responsibilities
1. Research and evaluate display technologies against performance requirements for medical diagnostic imaging equipment across the product portfolio.
2. Develop and qualify the technical solutions according to the program needs and timelines.
3. Consolidate, define and document display evaluation standard across multiple GEHC business units to a minimum viable superset.
4. Work with the cross-functional team to support the display integration during the new product introduction. Lead the planning, execution, and documentation of display sub-system verification testing.
5.Work with engineering, sourcing, and hardware teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts.
6. Research on advanced display technologies to understand the application on medical industry.

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
5. Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
Role Summary/Purpose
Activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures (technical Bachelor’s Degree).
Qualifications/Requirements
1. BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or equivalent experience.
2. Must be able to work effectively in a global cross-functional team environment.
3. Familiar with the display related regulatory requirements and standards. Familiar with the display test tools and process.
4. Understanding the LCD industry and technologies, experience on the medical imaging display is a plus.
5. Hands-on ability and able to work in fast pace environment and have innovation capacity.
6. Experience in validation of key performance indicator, interface and system performance of display hardware design.
Desired Characteristics
1. More than 3 years of experience on display or related technology, component evaluation.
2. Working knowledge of GEHC design tools and processes is a plus
3. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
4. Familiarity with medical device and IT regulatory requirements and regulated design practices.
5. Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
6. Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets
7. Effective oral and written communication skills.
8. Experience with scripting languages (such as bash, perl, python)
9. Ability to influence the cross functional team.
