Company Description

The Electrical Drives Division of Robert Bosch LLC provides an array of mechatronic drives (intelligent motors and actuators) for automotive applications including: window lift, sunroof, windshield wiper,
engine cooling fans, HVAC blowers, and various under-hood actuation functions. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist in application support of electronic control units and to lead our problem solving activities for quality / warranty returns. This position will be part of an extended global team. Candidate will interact with engineering and manufacturing team members in the Americas, Europe, and
Asia. Candidate must be able to travel. Periodic visits to domestic customer locations will be required. Travel to Europe to attend training sessions may be required.

Job Description

• Define and propose adequate quality methods (DRBFM, DOE, FMEA, 6-Sigma..)
• Participation in SE-teams and support quality aspects and if necessary demand them
• Establish and manage task forces within the context of quality management
• Carry out subject-specific trainings for employees if necessary and technical communicate / change over with plant quality team.
• Present and stand for working results also in hierarchical committees (BVS, customer executive committee…)
• Project/execute complex technical analysis
• Summarize and present results in an adequate manner

Qualifications

• Actively participate design activities from quality aspect, e.g. tolerance calculation, DRBFM, FEMA？
• Participation in SE-teams and support quality aspects and if necessary demand them
• Risk assessment in form of concession, ensure risks identified, managed and documented.
• Carry out subject-specific training for employees if necessary and technical communicate / change over with plant quality team.
• ECR attendance/check
• Evaluate and confirm concession
• Task force team leading
• Report in hierarchical reporting defined
