职位描述
Scope of Position:
This position will be asked to work collaboratively with the other DSMC team
members, the client, client contracted third parties and project specific operational staff as they are
appointed. Key role requirement is the efficient and effective implementation and support of work
scope requirements to complete Technical Assistance and Pre-Opening Phases for up to two DSMC
projects. A major part of this role is co-ordination of all resources, setting and meeting critical path
goals and the documentation and creation of Standard Operating Procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pre-Opening Support
a. Input into the creation of project plans and critical paths, ensuring all Technical
Assistance and Pre-Opening Services and Project Agreement related works are
included (as specified by the contract agreements and requirements of the work)
b. Assist with all site operations requirements, including (but not exclusively) design
and construction team liaison, recruitment, SOP development, Purchasing, Client
communications.
c. Assist in the timely completion of tasks according to the project plan
d. Update and issue Work in Progress on a weekly basis
e. In conjunction with the MD input into the creation of guest activities, programmes
and retreats which will be suitable for a predominantly Chinese clientele.
f. Accompany MD on project related site visits, workshops, buying trips and assist with
communications
2. Client Relationship Management
a. Promptly responding to all client requests
b. Assist with formal client communications by preparing meeting summaries and
monthly reports.
c. Co-ordinate with the Client, assist in liaising with project requirements, specialists
and key stakeholders.
d. Promptly escalate client issues to Project Manager/Managing Director
3. Standard Operating Procedures
a. In conjunction with Managing Director and using DSM standard content assist in the
preparation of standard SOP’s for the project in Mandarin and English
b. As the operating team come onboard train all Directors and Heads of Department in
the customisation of SOP’s and monitor their timely completion before the resort
opens.
c. During operational rehearsal conduct operating audit to ensure all SOP’s are being
followed and are correctly documented
4. Branding, Marketing and Sales
a. As and when requested assist the MD with Branding, Sales and Marketing,
particularly in regard to activities in the HK market.
5. Inventory
a. Based on DSM recommendations assist in the completion of inventory specifications
and selection of final suppliers and products
6. Financial
a. Assist in ensuring all projects are completed within budget and accurately record
any spend
7. HR
a. Support HR by participating in the recruitment process for operational team
members.
b. In conjunction with the MD recommend and assist in the recruitment of healers and
practitioners for each project
c. In conjunction with the MD assist in the assessment and soft skill training of
practitioners and therapists.
8. Resource Management:
a. Assist the successful and timely completion of work by any sub-
contractors/consultants under direct report to DSMC
b. Monitor budgets and maintain controls over costs
c. As the team grows assign tasks to subordinates and ensure timely completion of
work.
d. Manage and coach any direct reports and be responsible for their performance
management and working ethos.
9. Other:
a. Provide adhoc advice and assist MD in understanding the needs of the Chinese
consumer
b. Attend weekly Work in Progress meetings and all other meetings as requested.
10. General
a. Report for duty punctually
b. Provide a courteous and professional service at all times
c. Maintain good working relationships with collegues and all other departments.
d. Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
11. Occasional Duties:
a. Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
