职位描述
The Belgian foundry started in 1918 is now the world leader in differentiated solutions against wear. The company supplies the widest range of optimized solutions (products, services and systems) to industries involved in comminution (material size reduction): mines, cement, coal power stations, quarries and recycling. Also designs specific solutions for the dredging industry.
Report to: Business Development Manager
Location: can be home-based, but need to be trained for 6 months in Shanghai HQ
Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Forecast Achievement (45% of working time this year)
To develop the necessary action plans/business plans to reach the sales objectives in assigned market area in terms of quality, quantity and timing, using the available tools and resources put at the jobholder's disposition and this within a spirit of total customer satisfaction.

? Propose a sales forecast for assigned territory of responsibility for discussion and approval with the Sales and Marketing Manager.
? Initiate and/or maintain and improve customer contacts (multi level at the plant and at corporate level of the customer organization)
?Customer site visits for inspection of equipment and proposal / order follow up
?Liaise with Tech Center, customer sales representatives and plants to insure proper order processing/manufacturing.
?Assist Sales and Marketing Manager in the preparation of sales contracts/tenders.
?Customer engagement and training.
?Implement brick walling techniques to prevent customers from going to competition.
?Attend technical conferences / sales seminars or any other meeting organized by the Business Development Manager.
?Revise and update on a regular basis the action plans Business plans to reach sales objectives.
?Establish quarterly report on business activities.
?Any other function assigned by the department manager to grow the business
2. Sales Development - Market Share Increase: (50% of working time this year)
To asses and analyze customer needs, equipment and products used in order to develop our market intelligence and so that the Utilities Business can develop and provide cost effective solutions incorporating products and services to our customers.
?Product performance follow-up.
?MBT - IT implementation and follow-up.
?Technical discussion with product support service Team.
?Maintaining company customer and equipment database.
?Monitor and provide feedback on customers and customer group performances
?Attend trade shows and seminars.
?Monitor and provide feedback on competition activity.
?New projects follow-up
?Closely working with VRM product manager to find out new products and solutions, to solve customer issues.
?Keep abreast of changes and technology by reading power generation related magazines or technical papers
3.Budget and equipment/tools management(5% of working time this year)
To ensure that the necessary equipment and tools are available to support the sales exercise and maintain effective communication between the customers and the company while respecting the allocated sales budget.
?Assist in preparing the annual budget for assigned territory / market.
?Respect and maintain field equipment (computer, profile gauges, etc)
?Submit expense claims on a determined basis
?Maintain office, pay expenses and maintain records (satellite office).
?Travel management (travel in an organised way when visiting customers).
Requirements:
Education:
Engineering background required (Mechanical, Chemical or Metallurgy). University/College degree preferred.
Multiple languages (English, French) preferred.
Professional Experience:
2-5 years experience in sales/marketing or technical field. Or project management /customer service experiences preferably in manufacturing, sales & account management in engineering setting.
General: Computer literacy. This position requires 50% (or more in some case) travel.
