This position is responsible for raw material daily sourcing and purchasing for factory. Ensuring keep good supply base to production by good quality, competitive price and servicer level. 

1. Raw material sourcing
1.1. Work with Factory and Global Purchasing team, set up and implement Commodity Purchasing Strategies
1.2 Handle material sourcing operation to meet timely, lowest cost and good quality to 
feed into daily production 　 　 　
1.3 Work with Factory Material Group and Technical Centre to establish material 
sourcing projects on material cost reduction & stable supply
1.4 Tracking material & its feedstock on market trend and propose sourcing tactical

2. Work with Factory Purchasing team, control material delivery and tracking 
vendors performance 

3. Raw material inventory control
3.1 Work with Factory Purchasing team to ensure purchasing planning based on MRP 
of factories
3.2 Based on Production planning, control raw material inventory level with Target

4. Based on upstream material, market and industry situation etc. relative factors 
to make Material pricing forecast in next couple of months 
　
5. Involve in raw material quality continual improvement
5.1 Deal with Suppliers on any quality defect issue with Factory team 
5.2 Involve and coordinate supplier quality continual improvement plan
5.3 As member of ‘Audit Team’, join the supplier on-site audit based on plan

6. Make analysis report on Commodity material cost, inventory & other actual 
Purchasing performance 
6.1 Make monthly Commodity material report & find opportunities to continual 
improvement
6.2 Perioral communicate with Global Commodity team to share and learn best 
practice on Commodity sourcing 


At a minimum this position requires Bachelor's degree and above with at least 10 years’ Purchasing experience on rubber procurement in Manufacturer. Major of Chemical is preferred. 

This position interfaces with various groups at the company’s manufacturing locations and corporate departments as well as with suppliers through oral and written English communications. This position requires a significant amount of logic analysis capabilities to judge material market and make good decisions.

This position is located in the Shanghai office and there are no unpleasant or hazardous working conditions.
