Job Description

• Responsible for lead development and providing technical expertise in development of refrigerant compressors, particularly automotive e-compressors (review design models and drawings, analyze customer specification and translate requirements to product development, development of test specifications, test procedures and validate test results, apply lessons-learned into new designs, etc.)
• Technical interface to support cross function teams, e.g. manufacturing, purchasing, quality, marketing and sales (technical consultant, problem solving, product quality issues, etc.)
• Responsible for product benchmarking, incl. patent analysis
• Be an inventor (issue invention reports and apply patents)
• Responsible for technical knowhow and competence build-up. Maintain technical documentation and provide technical mentorship for less experienced engineers

Qualifications

？

• Master’s degree or above, major in mechanic engineering, vehicle engineering, mechatronics,？ electrical engineering or industrial engineering
• 5+ years engineering experience of automotive compressors and related refrigerant system components
• Good understanding of theories, concepts, technical principles and processes on refrigerant compressors, particularly automotive e-compressors
• Good understanding of development process and tools used in design e.g. FMEA, DFMA, DOE, etc.
• Proactively and independently lead technical design
• Experience with internal and external customer communications
• Good communication and writing in English
• Team worker with good cooperation skill
• This position is a part of an extended global team. Candidate will interact with regional and global engineering team members and be able to travel or participate regular telecom. Domestic and overseas travel necessary to attend team activities, customer meetings and workshops
