Purpose & Function Description:
It is the mandate of the Corporate Solutions Process Harmonization O2C/ FICO team to establish standard financial processes within our Group’s core ERP systems to secure group-internal financial standard and support high quality financial and management processes at all levels of the organization throughout adidas Group.
This position assumes the co-pilot role with Business Process Champion to drive the harmonization and governance of template finance process running on ERPs. He/she takes the leading role in the execution effort to safeguard the process standard (including process documentation) in medium-to-large scale projects and governance activities. In addition, he/she actively supports the development of new or enhanced process standard to achieve continuous improvement of the overall process landscape in line with business demands. He/she shares a sizeable portion of accountability with Business Process Champion to deliver harmonized business process solutions in core ERP rollout and other related project/initiatives.
This position is asked to govern the rollout of global finance template processes in SAP AFS within OneERP program. It is the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to assigned market(s), global IT and global finance departments for all finance-related topics. This position executes the assigned responsibilities to
· ensure highest degree of template compliance pertained to global finance template processes is achieved during the business assessment phase
· oversee and govern the implementation of global template processes in OneERP implementation projects with no unauthorized deviation allowed
· steer and coordinate with global finance resources on providing proactive on-site & remote training, testing and go-live support during the implementation phase until completion
· ensure global finance template including documentation, for both key user training and user acceptance test purpose, is readily available for the implementation
· support global template improvement projects driving the development of more robust finance template processes for OneERP program
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering/Communication
- Partner with global business, CoEs, markets, IT and Senior Management on driving the global template process adoption
- Enable fact based decision making by creating transparency on detailed process execution flow and dependency
- Lead medium to large sized projects, implement results and ensure sustainability of achievements.
- Develop and implement adequate communication packages to present derived results, recommendations and solutions.
Innovation
- Create new and improved working methods for entire processes and systems.
- Design, develop and implement state of the art analytic tools.
Strategy
- Develop new processes, standards or operational plans and deliver results with direct impact on the department and overall targets.
- Significantly contribute to the achievement of the department strategy.
Analysis/Reporting
- Identify improvement potential through variance analysis, derive solutions and facilitate related decisions.
- Manage & execute standardized reporting and ad hoc analysis.
- Provide solutions and facilitate decisions by structuring/analysing data and deriving the respective recommendations.
Functional Expertise
- Provide comprehensive expertise for ERP finance processes towards team and business partners in OneERP and process harmonization programs/projects
- Possess full ownership of processes and systems as well as process documentations for ERP finance processes
- Ensure strong governance of finance process standards in ERP systems during the OneERP program
- Lead and support ERP rollout (e.g. workstream lead) as well as process harmonization programs/projects in ERP finance processes

Business Partnering/ Communication

Knowledge
- Very strong knowledge and hands-on experience on SAP FICO process and related master data setup
- Good knowledge of SD and MM process and setup is highly preferred
- Solid experience on medium-to-large scale project management
- Lean 6 Sigma background and/or other process optimization tool preferred
- Business fluency in English (written and spoken)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant university degree; advanced degree or professional certification desirable
- 5-8 years of relevant working experience
Willing to travel with maximum 50% in different regions
