Role Description:

Astreya islooking for an experienced A/V Technician with a strong technical backgroundbut also a strong focus on customer service. This is a unique opportunity toplay a highly visible role in an exciting, industry-leading technology company.In this role, you will be given the opportunity to work with some of the mostinnovative technologies in the world.

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Troubleshoot andresolve technical issues reported by customers and other team members throughphone, chat, and ticket channels

· Troubleshoot varioustouch control devices and processors like Crestron and Mimo. For example,uploading Crestron control programs to control processors and work with remoteprogram team.

· Must have excellentproblem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability and do advancedtroubleshooting on AV devices/components

· Tweak audio programsfor audio DSPs from BiAmp Systems

· Root Cause Analysis-Identify and solve issues that impact the Client's conference rooms

· Routine maintenance /health checks of identified space

· Installing / mountingof equipment and displays

· Installation ofstructured cabling to include pulling, terminating and testing cat5e/6, video,RGB, HDMI, DVI and audio cable

· Installation of allAV equipment to include: audio and video conferencing equipment, distributedaudio, digital signage, control systems and all presentation systems

· Interface withexternal/internal customers and manufacturing vendors

· Responsible forescalating hardware or software issues that are outside our SOW to Managers

· Ensure that SLAs anddaily deliverables are met including service-request tickets, asset management,and project updates

· Event Support-Perform equipment setups, breakdowns and troubleshoot issues

· Responsible for allInventory that includes weekly/monthly stock levels, returning product

· Responsible forsigning out and securing equipment tools and non-inventory consumables fortheir site, using an asset-management system (RMA) and inventory DOA issues

· Follow all policies,standards, and safety guidelines that the client requires

· Must have excellentcommunication skills

· travel to other EastAsian countries whenever another AV Technician is on leave

Qualifications

· Good English skills

· Ability to think andwork independently

· Impeccable wiring andcable-termination skills as well as proper installation techniques of all AVequipment

· Excellent written andoral communication skills

· Strong interpersonaland customer service skills

· Experience inreading/understanding architectural, electrical, structural, and AV systemsdrawings

· Flexibility to workoutside the job description when the need arises

· Extensive experienceworking in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

· Analytical,problem-solving skill, and troubleshooting

· PC and Networkingknowledge

· Computer proficiencyto include Microsoft Office Suite or Google Apps

· Self-starter withkeen attention to detail

· Ability toeffectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

· Possible travel totroubleshoot,train or support techs within the region

· Ability to work day,evening or weekend shifts

· Must have validdriver’s license and safe driving record

RequiredEducation/Experience

· Accredited degree orequivalent combination of relevant education and experience

· 3+ years’experience with AV installations including equipment racks, site preparation,termination and calibration of audio and video equipment, and implementation ofcontrol systems in a corporate environment

· Expert knowledge ofcommercial construction methods such as ceiling deck construction, wall framingand structural engineering

· Must have masteredall aspects of audio-visual field installation and should be able to fullycommission an AV System

PreferredExperience

· CTS/CTS-I, NSCA,Cedia, Cisco, Polycom, Nexia, BiAmp, ClearOne, or Crestron Certification

· 2 years’+ experienceas a lead technician overseeing crew

· Experience withH.323, SIP, and WebRTC protocols from a hardware and network standpoint

· Network experience(CCNA certification or equivalent)
