Job Description and Responsibility
Overall Purpose of the Role
We are in the process of designing/developing our new technology operating model, in particular managed services to a cloud delivery model, through a number of projects, and need a service operations managed services owner to assist in the transition and own the operational process once deployed.
This position will reside within the ITS organization to assist in defining and implementing target operations model that meet specific business and project need, track and monitor performance and quality of operation processes meet defined expectations.
The role requires knowledge of the ITIL framework, service design, service transition, latest technology, media and telecommunications industry trends, especially around cloud and cloud hosting as well as deep understanding of business valuation, IT operations models, ITIL service management processes to ensure that IT services are modernized and operationally ready for our people and clients.
Other key elements of the job include:
? Understand services strategic and competitive position and work to improve them
? Service, and Operational Level Agreement design, including KPI reporting
? ITS Services Service portfolio Catalog and associated SLA publish to all users
Accountabilities – Key Result Areas
This role will have organizational, project, leadership and operational responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, the following:
? Define the target operations model and strategy for both on-premises and cloud services across Deloitte China.
? Continually research and engagement with platform engineering teams as well as Deloitte shared services teams to strategy around how each new service will impact the on-premises and cloud platforms.
? Maintain up-to-date Service Catalog and keep it available to all users.
? Define and analyze metrics key performance indicators, and service level agreements to continually improve the performance of IT operations.
? Provide leadership for delivery of 24/7 service operations and KPI compliance.
? Ensure comprehensive disaster recovery architecture is maintained and operations are in place to ensure compliance with required RPOs and RTOs during business continuity events (emphasizing but not limited to storage area networks and redundant, highly-available service and network architectures).
? Project management participation, and support, including Technical Delivery Management.
? Collaborates with Architects from all domains to understand the impact of current and future architecture on services and the service roadmap.
? Oversee operational execution of application and infrastructure components within IT teams.
? Plan about staff development based on future skill requirements, personnel and skill resources allocation in IT Operations team.
? Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork among staff members, while empowering them to take ownership and make their own decisions.
? Integrate security standards and processes into daily work to meet and sustain compliance with Deloitte secure practices.
? Participate in IT strategic and budget planning efforts.

Qualification:
Experience / Qualification Requirements
? Strong understanding or certification in one or more of the following:
o Experience working with Agile development processes
o ITIL - Service Design, and Service Transition framework
? Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education
? Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
? Extensive IT Operations, Service Transition and Management experience
? Experience in leading large, geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams
? Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to and collaborate with business leaders and various level of audiences
? Ability to travel up to 30%
? Experience in a global professional services firm with geographically distributed teams is preferred
Managerial Competencies
? Skills in procurement and contract negotiations.
? Good understanding of corporate strategic planning process.
? Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information and activities.
? Ability to lead people with a collaborative and consensus building approach, while also driving teams forward to delivering exceptional results
? Proven ability to navigate and successfully deliver exceptional results in a highly complex and ambiguous environment
? Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally, to achieve the corporate goals.
? Work independently, assess problem situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
Technical Competencies
? Good technical expertise across different technology sets, including infrastructure and data centers, network, exchange, Office 365, Skype and Cloud.
? Knowledge of DevSecOps process management is preferred.
? Good level skills in Project Scheduling tool (Microsoft Project preferred), including critical path management.
? Proficiency in the use of computers for word processing, simple accounting, databases, spreadsheets, e-mail, and Internet.
? Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
? Knowledgeable about current and possible future IT trends and technology.
