Job Summary

 

This position works for an engineering group that includes multiple functional development disciplines – it may include embedded software development, test, software, and configuration management. This position will work with other team member or work independently to ensure successful execution and alignment of multi functional group with company processes and practices.

 

This position will work with team member, manager and/or project leader and director to reduce time to market while delivering high quality products to our customers.

 

Minimum Education

· Master Degree or equivalent in Automation, EE or Computer Science.

Key Qualifications

· One to four years of experience in the development & testing of real-time embedded software products, including any internship/co-op programs

· Familiar with popular micro-processor, such as, but not limited, ARM, MCS51, MIPS architecture.

· Ability to demonstrate and apply C/C++ or other Object Oriented Programming language

· Excellent collaborative skills, should be a team player

· Passion for embedded software development

· Strong written and verbal communication capabilities

· Seeks knowledge of and keeps informed of current trends in embedded systems technology, including design techniques, development tools, and overall process improvements

Desired Qualifications

· Experience with Realtime OS utilization and implementation.

· Experience of developing product with industrial communication protocol, CIP and EtherNet are preferred.

· Advanced courses in engineering or computer science

· Coursework or experience covering software requirements analysis, software design and software testing.

· Experience with embedded software development tools such as In-Circuit Emulators, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, etc.

· Experience of working with global company in similar area is a positive add-on.
