职位描述
Responsibilities:
1 . Manage accounting teams in China and Hong Kong, evaluating performance and training where needed.
2 . Responsible for the preparation and review of all monthly financial statements.
3 . Responsible for performing and/or delegating month end closing and financial reporting process, including account analysis and reconciliation
4 . Understands and can apply US IFRS, GAAP, and PRC GAAP, and can work with each to complete monthly financial statements.
5 . Understands and appropriately applies financial information to business issues and develops appropriate reports and solutions.
6 . Understands the use of accrual accounting and develops appropriate reports and solutions.
7 . Work with engineering and manufacturing personnel to evaluate new projects for economic viability.
8 . Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
9 . Work closely with Asia management team to report financial information. Report weekly financial performance to CFO and VP Asia.
10 . Identify, investigate, and analyze potential operational improvements. Make proposals for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.). Elevate issues to GM and/or CFO when necessary.
11 . Assist VP Asia and CFO in performing special projects as required.
12 . Work as a key member of the Global Finance team to assist company in reaching targeted goals.
13 . Responsible for the development of standard costs, and reporting on a monthly basis. Maintain standard costs.
14 . Manages and maintains relationships with appropriate external service providers, to include auditors.
15 . In conjunction with US Headquarters, appropriately manages cash flow.
16 . Work with VP Asia (and others when required) in evaluating capital expenditures and projects.
Specific Requirements:
1 . Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal skills.
2 . Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (written and verbal).
3 . Strong financial analysis skills, with ability to review large amounts of data and summarize into meaningful reports.
4 . Significant experience with MRP systems.
5 . Must have detailed cost/manufacturing accounting experience, including dealing with standards setting, rolling, evaluation, analysis, and financial reporting implications.
6 . Exposure to international business operations.
7 . Understanding of PRC taxes and have the ability to effectively work with PRC auditors and tax representatives
8 . Understand transfer pricing rules and how to work within those rules to get the most out of the company's financial performance.
9 . Ability to work within a team environment and provide supervision to other team members.
10 . Must have Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
11 . Sound understanding of accounting principles and GAAP (US, IFRS, and PRC required).
12 . Experience working with engineering and manufacturing personnel on development and analysis of cost standards.
13 . Strong experience in income statement preparation and analysis.
14 . Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
15 . Strong organizational and time management skills.
16 . Advanced Excel skills; ability to work with lookups and pivot tables.
17 . B.S. degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
18 . Public accounting experience preferred.
