POSITION SUMMARY
Our Client is a global leading company in chemical industry.


POSITION DESCRIPTION
Primarily this person will be responsible for developing and growing the auto carbon business, which is the core business in the carbon business unit in China, to meet aggressive business goals. This position has the overall responsibility to develop and implement a country-wide auto carbon business development strategy. Related activities may include, but are not limited to, identifying and targeting new business opportunities and developing strategic plans to capture significant business; provide advice, direction and aid in plans for market research and competitive analysis.
Reports to: Carbon Business Unit Head China
Sub: 4
DIMENSIONS:
Geographic Scope: China or business locations related to Chinese customers
Revenue Responsibility: Existing $14MM with potential growing to reach $40MM in next 3 years


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Auto carbon sales planning and implementation.
  • Auto carbon business commercial strategy development includes but not limited to OEM approach strategy, market position maintaining strategy, pricing strategy.
  • Establish a tactical approach to both direct customer & OEM to drive business growth.
  • Lead customer relationship management-OEM & direct customer.
  • Customer loyalty development and enhancement.
  • Timely updates of market information and trends in related industries (active carbon and automotive) for future business development.
  • Prepare monthly reports and meet with management to review progress on targets and plan strategy and tactics.
  • Monitor competitors'activities.
  • Cultivate the team's spirit in working together to ensure brand awareness.
  • Work closely with global auto carbon group to develop China sales and marketing plans.
  • Work closely with S&OP, CSR, and Operations Department to coordinate demand / supply plan.

  • POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering.
    • 10 years' experience in successful sales leadership roles (within the Automotive industry is preferred).
    • Strong knowledge of OEM's in the automotive Industry.
    • Strong understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems.
    • A high level of initiative is expected from the incumbent to accelerate China auto carbon growth
    • Knowledge in business valuation, to allow clear analysis of competitive strengths and weakness in evaluation of alternative strategies.
    • Knowledge in marketing analysis, forecasting, long and short term planning, and pricing methods.
    • Good insight in auto market dynamics, customers and competitors.
    • Positive and Proactive;
    • Strong leadership presence and skills;
    • Excellent negotiation, problem solving, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills required;
    • Fluency in English is a must.
