Mission:

The project engineer will lead product evolution projects in scope of technical design change, with target of TTM (time to market), project quality and budget control.

The product evolution projects cover the coordination of technical tasks as well as coordination with Plants for industrial needs. He/She will be in charge of several projects in parallel. He/She would lead some of the design activities himself depending on the size of the project.

Responsibilities:

> Manage the development of all project activities from the initiation to the closure, covering the scope of all switching and

controlling products (contactors, thermal relays, motor circuit breakers etc).

> Develop, with the Project Team, the Project Management Plan and keep it up to date during the life of the project.

> Is responsible for defining & managing the project budget, resources and schedule.

> Organize, build, lead, align and motivate the project team and synchronize the project team with the other teams.

> Challenge the functions (including marketing) to take ownership of the project objectives

> Lead the decision making process at the project level and at the right time.

> Identify the risks, issues and manage the associated corrective action plans.

> Manage the overall project planning, organize arbitration and, in event of deviation, propose and implement corrective

actions.

> Provide the project evaluation and project status to management on a regular basis.

> Be in strong coordination with the plants to make sure deployment will be ready on time.

Qualification & skills :

> Technical background with good knowledge of supply chain set-up

> Good knowledge of switching and controlling products (contactors, thermal relays, motor circuit breakers, starters etc.)

> Competencies in project management, scheduling

> Able to work with remote management

> Proactive leadership with international mindset

> Fluent in English, French language is an option
