Company Profile
Our client is the leading German exhaust system manufacturer in the market
Major Accountability:
Oversee the entire manufacturing plant to improve the economic efficiency, quality and performance by establishing a target-oriented management control system throughout all operative areas.
Responsibilities:
1. Reporting to the Board of Management at Corporate Office Germany;
2. Manage all aspects in production planning & materials control, quality assurance, technical services, project management, safety and environment control;
3. Investment, budgetary, costing and procurement management;
4. Transfer of technology, localization and cascading management;
5. Apply Six Sigma (optimization as to defect-free products, rework, claims, premium freight, development, modifications, cost measurements);
6. Safeguard the proper use of safety facilities and equipment for elimination of risks and environmental protection.
7. Act as the highest official to represent company's interest in China and the other new business opportunities in pursuing in China.
Requirements:
1. Tertiary or higher educated major in Mechanical or Auto Engineering or its equivalent disciplines;
2. Proven management experience to lead manufacturing operations in China preferably in automotive industry or its related sectors with exposure to precision metal work or sheet metal forming and assembly to equipment and heavy machinery;
3. Good general management skills in people, process control, logistics and project work;
4. Fluent in English and German
5. Distinct awareness of intercultural differences, assertiveness, team player and strong attention to details.
6. German, Asian Chinese, Mainland Chinese candidates will be considered to this position.
