Company Description

The Electrical Drives Division of Robert Bosch LLC provides an array of mechatronic drives (intelligent motors and actuators) for automotive applications including: window lift, sunroof, windshield wiper,
engine cooling fans, HVAC blowers, and various under-hood actuation functions. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist in application support of electronic control units and to lead our problem solving activities for quality / warranty returns. This position will be part of an extended global team. Candidate will interact with engineering and manufacturing team members in the Americas, Europe, and
Asia. Candidate must be able to travel. Periodic visits to domestic customer locations will be required. Travel to Europe to attend training sessions may be required.

Job Description

• Ensuring product design quality, cost optimization and on-time delivery
• Conducting mechanical design or validation task for DC motor problem solving
• Creating 3D model or 2D DRW and SAP product BOM, and ECR and other technical document
• Conducting on DFMEA and DRBFM analysis for the related product
• Following up the process of tooling kick off and part quality evaluation
• Technical supporting for supplier quality topics
• Technical supporting for international application team
• Set up design specification according to customer demands

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
• Familiar with UG or Catia relevant 3D design tool
• Good command of English language both written and spoken, CET6 or above
• Team player, self-motivated, target oriented
• Familiar with PEP of automobile industry
• Know about the TS16949 and other important norms of automobile industry
• good command of Ms. Office software
• preferred with working experience/knowledge in DC/EC motor development or automotive industry
