职位描述
Job Descriptions
1. Managing and leading the operations staff in providing logistics services in accordance with the provisions of the logistics services agreements whilst achieving KPI and profitability targets.
2. Providing management with accurate and timely management information.
3. Support BD function in implementing new operations.
4. Extend scope of existing services through generic growth.
5. Fully reconfigure the current operations to ensure that the business returns a profit.
6. Lead in discussions to negotiate rates and agreement terms to ensure commercial acceptability without risk, fitness for purpose & value
7. Continuously monitor subcontractor performance, and develop improvement plan with subcontractor for rectification of performance issues in compliance with Company and DPWN Corporate policy and standard.
8. Assist Sales to promote the Logistics activities
9. Defines, monitors and enforces targets to the operational units
10. Select and assigns key positions to reach targets
11. Analyses costs and cost structure of production on country/country group level, and derives improvement measurements and actions
12. Responsible for constant improvement and optimization of production means (cost management), e.g. make or buy
13. Ensure adherence to ISO standards
14. Ensure smooth running of Logistics warehouse
15. Approve customers, sub-contractors and internal invoices
16. Approve advance payment
17. Monitor & control available resources
18. Undertake operational activities that contributes to Operational KPIs
Skills
1. Third party logistics experience
2. Related industry warehouse operational experience
3. Project management experience
4. Having past experience of managing a 3PL/4PL logistics operation on a day-to-day basis
5. Account management experience desirable (proposal design, costing, commercial awareness)
6. Implementation experience
7. Strong skills in customer relations
8. Broad understanding of logistics IT
9. Business English skills
10. Minimum 8 years’ experience in the logistics management field
