职位表述和要求： POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for developing and implementing permitting strategies to support projects; identifying and assessing emerging legislative and regulatory issues that can impact permitting and environmental compliance; providing ongoing permitting and environmental compliance support to Operations; and developing and implementing environmental initiatives to maintain compliance and protect the environment. This position plays a key role in supporting business growth and portfolio management through new capital projects, acquisitions and divestitures, and is critical to meet regulatory requirements, internal policies, and the expectations of company management, customers, communities, and stakeholders.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Conduct Environmental Site Assessments at properties and operations that are part of pending acquisitions and divestitures to identify and assess environmental risks before deal closing.

2. Develop and implement effective strategies and work processes for permitting new facilities and operations. Identify required monitoring systems and control technologies that can impact project scope. Apply for, negotiate and obtain EH&S permits and approvals.

3. Facilitate plant EH&S performance acceptance testing.

4. Interpret permit and environmental regulatory requirements, develop environmental compliance matrices, provide initial compliance matrix training to Operations and provide ongoing compliance support and training.

5. Develop and implement permit administration work processes to effectively manage and administer existing permits requirements.

6. Identify and assess emerging environmental issues and regulations that can impact operations, services, products, and permitting strategies. Participate, as needed, in trade organizations and interface with environmental agencies to advocate regulatory changes, where appropriate.

7. Manage the use of specialized environmental consultants in a cost-effective manner

8.Develop and implement environmental programs, practices, and procedures that prevent pollution, minimize waste, assess waste disposal vendors, assist operating organizations in implementing regulatory requirements and internal standards, achieve corporate goals, and drive continuous environmental improvement.

9. Support environmental incident investigation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1.Bachelor degree above majoring in environmental engineering, chemical engineering or other engineering sectors

2. 8+ Years work experiences in chemical plants or engineering sector for Bachelor degree and 5+ Year work experience if above Bachelor degree, 3+ years environment and/or safety management experience

3.Good English skills both in oral and writing, good computer skills

4.Good working relationship with local authorities and good communication skills and interpersonal skills

5. Demonstrates ability to plan, organize and control multiple work assignments.

6. Has a working-level knowledge of China EH&S laws and regulations.
