Senior Associate:

Report to: managers, senior managers, associate directors, directors, partners

Reporting staff: associates

Requirements

• Degree holder, preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Risk Management, Finance;
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in banks, rating agencies, management consulting firms or big 4 audit firms;
• Good knowledge in the following areas: (1) banking operations, (2) risk modelling and risk analysis, (3) credit risk management, and (4) Basel II and HKMA/CBRC requirements;
• Project experience in borrower ratings, facility ratings, scorecards, stress testing, limit and pricing setting, portfolio management, capital adequacy assessment, etc;
• Practical experience in using statistical software (e.g. SAS) plus Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access;
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities;
• Ability to translate client issues into solutions that address complex situations;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is essential; and
• Demonstrable rapid learning capability and able to work under pressure.
