POSITION SUMMARY:

This position provides the engineering services for all projects in AP Asia, and other Air Products Groups upon request. The services provided include all aspects of a project from the initial meetings with the customer, power system development, estimates, equipment design, purchasing evaluation, factory inspection and commissioning of the electrical power equipment.

 
Electrical Sr. Engineers engaged in electric power system design, economic evaluation, equipment selection, specification, and protection for electric power supply and utilization for cryogenic processes, waste water treatment, chemical and electro-chemical process facilities. Facility power loads range from 500 Kilowatts to 10 Megawatts. Supply voltages range from 380 volts, 3 phase to 35kV volts, 3 phase. All size of induction motors are applied and specified , Switchgear and protective relaying is applied and specified for all equipment.

The Sr. electrical engineer is also interfaces with the Construction engineer, the Machinery Engineer, the Start-up Engineer and Operations. specified by them on their projects.

The Sr. Engineer in Shanghai office is also requiring managing the 3rd party engineering company or design institute to ensure the electrical engineering work success done and follow AP standard practice..

Requirements for this position include min. bachelor degree in electrical engineering system. min. 7~8 years working experience in design institute, engineering company,

The main electrical tools will be PTW , E-TAP , Microsoft office, Auto CAD, and some equipment tools like relay programming and set up software.

The main task will be in Shanghai office, and based on project requirement, may travel non-frequently to site or operation plant to provide technical support.
