Job SUMMARY

Consequently, we are seeking a strategic and dynamic Leadership Development Center of Excellence Lead for XXX country/MCO/zone to support Sanofi’s business and organizational growth through a robust and integrated development curriculum for leaders, managers and employees across countries/MCO/zone in scope.
As LD lead, he/she will work in close collaboration with the regional and country HR Business Partners in addressing the overall leadership and people development of all business units and functions in the different countries/MCO/zone, except for technical and functional trainings (out of scope). The role also consults and engages in the design and implementation of global Sanofi solutions, as well as in assessing and designing local or region level programs in the absence of global solutions.
As countries/MCO/zone LD lead, he/she will collaborate, manage and organize, together with other the global and regional COE team a systematic portfolio that sensibly progresses the learning and development of managers, leaders and employees based on a global framework. This role must be viewed and possess the experience as experts in design and methods of development across the 70/20/10 development principles, i.e., classical learning, learning through others and learning through experience.

But also knowledge of Sanofi business and priorities to be able to design and implement solutions truly relevant and demonstrate results aligned and supporting the business direction and goals.
primary duties & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the strategy and provide consulting for the Leadership Devt COE scope of services and solutions for his/her assigned countries/MCO/zone scope
-Lead annual needs assessment together with COE colleagues and local HRBPs as basis/es for defining yearly leadership and people development strategies and roadmaps for countries/MCO/zone
-Define and execute an integrated LD roadmap and curriculum for his/her scope in accordance to the COEs 80% global-20% local direction, and a good mix of 70/20/10 blended learning solutions
-Be account managers in overseeing overall COE execution, conducting pro-active stakeholder engagement with HRBPs and business leaders, and facilitating progressive reviews throughout the year
-Informally lead other COE colleagues assigned to the same countries/MCO/zone as an account team, i.e., aligning goals, conducting regular geo meetings, addressing issues with accountable COE owner/s
-Provide regular COE reports and business updates to the regional and global COE leaders and teams re LD COE strategies, progress, issues and support needed for his/her scope
-Provide general consulting on related LD COE requests from HRBPs and business leaders to advise, coach and service accordingly based on global LD directions and governance
Consult and design local and/or regional solutions for managers and leaders not addressed by global programs (20%)
-Address identified local/regional needs not covered by the global roadmap and contracted for local design and support with the Global and Region LD COE Heads based on global needs assessment results/findings.
-Partner with local business and HR leaders to diagnose these unique needs to design and implement effective development still aligned to global frameworks but addressing local leadership and management strategies supporting defined business goals
-Collaborate and network with the global LD COE and from across Sanofi’s countries and geographies for internal best practices related to the development topic/s
-Lead the program preparation and set up, including updating of material, language translations and compliance with all forms processing, facilities, logistics, etc. and being a liaison with vendor (if applicable) and ensuring program standards are maintained during the initial pilot and launch stages.
-Later partner and contract with LD operations in regular planning, communications and deployment of the local programs in sustaining stage, while staying as the key contact and program owner at region level
-Collaborate with the Global and Region LD COE to ensure alignment on global LD policy and processes
As assigned, engage in the design, pilot and general implementation of global Leadership Development programs and solutions as part of the country/MCO/zone roadmap and curriculum (80%)
-Be part of new global program design and planning teams as regional representative to actively input and represent general and unique needs of local/regional audiences for consideration in the global designs
-Later partner and contract with LD operations in regular planning and deployment of global programs in sustaining stage, while staying as the key contact and program owner at region level
-Monitor general feedback and results of assigned global programs from other COE Leads, local HRs and business leaders to ensure desired results and impact
-Provide the required and necessary communications, education and trainings on tools, processes and guidelines for local/regional HR and business leaders to engage or avail of the solutions
-Collaborate with the Global and Region LD COE to ensure alignment on global LD policy and processes
Manage program implementation and consistent quality of leadership and management solutions in the countries/MCO/zone scope
-Take accountability for every global and local programs in assigned countries/MCO/zone as local owner and contact by regularly checking on global alignment, monitoring regular evaluation of session and soliciting business feedback on the effectiveness and relevance to their goals and needs
-Periodically review the quality implementation, overall investment and cost efficiency for investing business units and affiliates in line with Sanofi operational excellence goals.
-Define needed policies, standard procedures and governance infrastructure to keep Sanofi legal and compliant to avoid people issues and audit findings.
Engage and contribute to regional and corporate projects
-Contribute to key projects for the company as led by the COE, region HR or broader global People & Leadership Development COE.
-Demonstrate positive behaviors and leadership skills to cooperate transversally and support local deployment and execution
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
-At least 10 years professional experience in Leadership Development function
at least 3-5 years regional role/experience preferred
-Expertise in adult learning principles and leader learning development strategies
-Strong technical and working knowledge on needs assessment, curriculum design, program implementation, communication, evaluation, and continuous improvement
-Effective stakeholder management, interpersonal communication and influence skills
-Good business acumen, strategic partnering and consulting skills
-Strategic thinking and analysis
-Results and detail orientation via proven project management and execution
-Ability to work and collaborate in a matrix, international and diverse environment
-Genuine interest in people and development
-Excellent written and verbal English
-People management and/or consulting firm experience a big plus
