Position Summary The MES Solution Architecture (Refer as “SA” below) is responsible for contribute to SSB China MES BDM team to achieve overall business targets in the Great China.

The SA is responsible for the development and execution of the TCE (The connected Enterprise) strategy using Rockwell Automation’s consultative sales approach ,The objective of this engagement is to deliver solutions that meet Enterprise level customer’s digital transformation strategy and help customer to blueprint digital transformation roadmap and help them to identify various OT/IT solutions

Daily activities will include collaboration with the Rockwell Automation Global Sales & Marketing, industry sales, technical consultants, product development and product marketing to promote collaboration with our customers in our target markets

Diverse opportunities can be expected, including engagement in long sales pursuits ranging.


Essential Responsibilities 1. Achieve RA Information Software sales targets and meet business revenue plans for software, services and maintenance using a consultative & value based sales process that engages key executives within our target accounts
2. Develop and report an accurate sales forecast and pipeline of Information Software.
3. Prepare and develop technical proposals and requests for customer
4. Utilize value selling techniques to quantify project ROI that align our deliverables with the customers operational goals
5. Collaborate with the GSM sales teams to develop target accounts, identify opportunities and access key players within the organization
6. Act as the primary consultant between key customers, regional sales team, SSB, Solution Providers to ensure efficient and effective communications that supports the customer adoption of RA solutions
7. Share best practices with product and marketing organizations to achieve IS revenue targets for Vertical or Geography
8. Demonstrate understanding of MES trends and their impact on business decisions in assigned Vertical or Geography and clearly communicate this knowledge to extended sales teams

Minimum Requirements Education/Experience
? Bachelor or Master’s Degree in manufacturing industry IT/OT application or equivalent experience
? 5+ years MES pre-sales or consulting experience is must
? Knowledge of ERP, APS, SCACA, WMS, PLM. Be familiar with marketing leading MES platform (RA, Siemens, GE) is strong plus
? Familiarity with supply chain concepts, logistics, manufacturing flow and interaction with IT and Manufacturing resources
? Proven presentation and interaction skills
? Deep manufacturing business knowledge on discrete manufacturing industry is a plus
? Familiarity with executive selling processes for selling Software solutions
? MES project implementation experience is strong plus ?
