Accountabilities

? Set the standards for process safety across the territories and influence staff at all levels to adopt these standards.
? Develop and maintain a competent risk assessor and incident investigation network within the territories, providing training and assessment of the team.
Assess that sites comply with process safety standards as defined in Codes of Practice and / or according to local legislation.
? Participate in HSE Auditing as assigned to ensure compliance of sites against process safety Code of Practice).
? Ensure that management understand the requirements of PRA so that adequate resources are released, controls are maintained, documentation is up to date and red risks are eliminated. If red risks cannot be resolved, escalate to expedite a solution.
? Link to project planning so that PRA resource requirements are known and understood by all and resources are available when required.

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical knowledge

? Graduate in chemistry, engineering or a related discipline.
? A thorough and practical knowledge of Syngenta's process risk assessment methodology and standards.
? Appreciation of National HSE standards and legislation in each APAC country.

Critical experience

? Approximately 5 years' experience in process design, project management or production management.
? At least two years as a process risk assessor before appointment.
