POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be reporting to and assist the Weinan Plant Manager in directing all aspects of the day-to-day operation, leading with team of including production supervisor/operators, focus on plant operation, maintenance, training and working with the regional maintenance team in executing maintenance activities for the plants.
This position is also act as training position for plant manager in the future TGEE LASU opportunity in China.
The successful candidate is expected to build strong relationships with regional support teams and contractors as well as look for opportunities to improve and optimize the efficiency of the plants.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

1) Provide effective leadership to the ASU operating teams to ensure the A2000 ASU at Weinan is operated safely, efficiently and in compliance with contractual requirements & on-stream guarantees.
2)Ensure compliance with process safety, MOC's, and OPHR's requirements.
3)Maintain effective work processes, drive continuous improvement and sharing of best practices at the plants.
4)Manage the training of new operating staff for the Weinan Shift Ops team, include AP employee & JV employee.
5)Ensure Operating Procedures & manuals are in place and up to date for all the plants.
6)Together with GSS team ensure plant preventive & breakdown maintenance are coordinated and executed in a timely manner and in accordance with the SAP PM system.
7)Communicate and coordinate with logistics, commercial teams, CSO, local operations teams, maintenance teams, etc. to ensure product supply to the customer(s) when plant is down or when customer's usage exceeds the plant's capacity.
8)Work with the GSS support teams and Global TGEE Supply China to identify & execute productivity ideas.
9)Responsible for developing the Weinan Ops team to ensure that they:
10)Monitor and make adjustment if needed to keep all the plants running well with high efficiency.
11)Are build with technical competency on plant troubleshooting and keeping the plant under high reliability.
12)Provide performance KPI reports such as down time reports, power & plant efficiency reports.

QUILIFICATIONS

1) Demonstrated managerial leadership potential and proven interpersonal skills.
2) Track record of success on safety, health and environmental protection.
3)Track record of success in Quality and Regulatory compliance.
4)A strong commitment to employee involvement, team building and diversity.
5)Experience in process plant operation/maintenance and product distribution.
6)Ability to interface with Regional support personnel.
7)Should have Bachelor's in an engineering or related subject;
8)Minimum of 3 years experience in the industrial gas field or chemical plant;
9)Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
