Position Summary
1. Determine annual sales plan by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results
2. Set up sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and value for existing and new products. Sales budget and forecast planning
3. Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans, especially in Nuclear industry
4. Acquire new customers and developing existing customers
5. Take charge of office manager role for Beijing office’s daily operation
6. Other tasks assigned by company
Key Tasks
1. Sales Gross Margin
2. Product Specialists: Guide and assist in the development of a territory business plan for each individual
3. Resellers: To select, review, develop and coordinate the Reseller network to maximize its effectiveness to attain volume and market goals within each region. To promote products assigned and to service the resellers under the direct responsibility
4. Major Accounts: To penetrate and develop Major Account customers to attain regional volume
5. Training Development: Monitor the selling process of Resellers sales force, introduce coaching and training techniques, which will enhance the value of Snap-on to the end user marketplace
6. Trade Activities: Coordinate the promotional activities within the region
Requirements
1. Bachelor degree or above with technical background
2. At least 10 years related working experience, minimum 5 years as Sales Manager focusing Chinese market, Nuclear industry experience is preferred
3. Effective sales and business management, having the ability to interact with a wide range of persons and personality types
4. Business planning
5. Customer Service
6. Demonstrate proficiencies in
(1) Product Knowledge
(2) Selling, Sales Process and Sales and Project Management
(3) Knowledge of Competitor’s products and their marketing programs
7. Skills: Communication – verbal, written, presentation and negotiation(Chinese and English)
8. Knowledge: Aviation, Nuclear, Automotive and General Industries’ structure and dynamics relative to premium hand tools product
9. Understanding: Distributor/Dealer contracts, Sales and Expense Budget Process, and Personal Expense account
10. Required Characteristics: Leadership, Customer and Tem Focus, High Energy, Pro-active, and Multi-tasking
