Position Description
The China Support Engineer shall be responsible for support activities related to EnviTec’s ecology unit/ESP and commercial air conditioning systems product lines from China based manufacturers. The China Support Engineer shall interface with EnviTec’s Chinese manufacturers on technical and pricing issues.
Position shall be based at JIANGSU POLYGEE ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.
Position reports to Walter J. Kleinberg, President
Position requires some domestic travel between Shanghai and Nanjing and international travel of approximately 1 to 2 trips per year with a duration of about 1 week per each trip primarily to Dubai.
Position Responsibilities
1. Work with EnviTec’s Chinese manufacturers to ensure technical requirements and schedules are being met.
2. Facilitate communication between EnviTec USA and EnviTec’s Chinese manufactures.
3. Provide technical support, including document and drawing translations and drawing preparation in English.
4. Conduct inspections during manufacturing and of completed equipment.
5. Witness factory testing and ensure factory test reports are properly prepared.
6. Provide support for shipping and logistics.
Required Qualifications and Skills
1. Degreed mechanical engineer.
2. Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ technical engineering experience related to air filtration products and air conditioning systems.
3. Strong English skills, both verbal and written.
4. Must know how to use AutoCAD.
5. Must have proven strong engineering and technical skills.
6. Must be a highly motivated self-starter with a very strong work ethic.
7. Must be able to work independently.
8. Must be well organized with superior attention to detail.
Salary Commensurate with experience.
