Analyse the risks associated with the product and/or insurance line within their remit, and decide whether to accept or reject them, in accordance with the regulations, technical criteria and guidelines of the head of the technical area and the underwriting limits authorised, in order to maintain an adequate risk level that ensures that the growth and profitability targets are met.

岗位职责

1. Analyse insurance quotes and applications, assessing their feasibility and deciding whether to accept or reject them according to the technical criteria established by the Management with the aim of maintaining an adequate risk level.

2. Quote and/or underwrite risks within their specialist area, issue the corresponding policy or endorsement, where necessary, in order to ensure that premiums are correctly calculated, and establish the most suitable covers for each specific risk. If necessary, manage collections.

3. Conduct the necessary analysis within their remit to appropriately decide whether to increase or maintain the portfolio, as well as to prepare the technical reports required as a result of their analysis.

4. Follow up and control results, insurance and/or underwriting quotes, business indexes, etc., within their scope of responsibility, detecting any deviations and, where necessary, propose the adoption of measures and changes to criteria or action plans as deemed necessary to constantly maintain adequate risk levels.

5. Clarify any doubts or queries related to the risks within their remit, which are posed by MAPFRE’s policyholders, brokers, debtors and/or clients to provide a high-quality of service.

6. Authorise exceptions and/or amendments to the conditions for covering the risks within their specialist field, providing their unit with expert advice and/or supervision in underwriting issues, to ensure a correct technical risk management.

7. Service and/or visit clients, if required, to perform a technical verification of the risks (for specific and complex products), provide advice, solve incidents and, where necessary, close deals that involve an increase in premiums or the maintenance of a portfolio, thus ensuring a correct analysis of the risks and producing, if necessary, the verification reports required to accept or reject them.

8. Provide the regional network or the staff under their direction with technical and sales information to raise awareness on the processes and techniques within their remit.

9. Maintain updated, specific and/or specialised knowledge of the technical procedures, rules, criteria, etc. within their remit, by attending training sessions, and monitoring the main management and quality assurance indicators.

1. Master Degree with 1-2 years or Bachelor Degree with 3-4 years experience in business statistics or insurance.
2. Excellent English skill in both orally and written
3. Technical knowledge of the insurance line/product or Reinsurance Technique in their specialist field Management tools in the Area
