Job Description – EOPS OpEx Lead Process Engineer


HTSC Aero EOPS Operational Excellence Team is looking for an experienced professional to drive improvements and solve problems across engineering teams. The key responsibilities will be to assess and understand our engineering teams’ issues and identify appropriate approaches to address as well as leading the initiatives or projects to quickly and effectively drive these improvements to realize measurable and lasting results for the business. This role will also take care of CMMI effort which requires the flexibility of multiple tasking, innovative strategy thinking, and the ability to work with a variety or groups and at multiple levels within the organization.
 
Responsibilities of this position including, but not limited to:

? Partner with domestic OpEx team in learning & understanding business enterprise and SBU engineering team needs and objectives
? Supporting engineering teams to investigate problems, identify improvements initiatives towards business results and then develop plans to address
? Lead cross Engineering and cross Functional improvement teams to quickly and efficiently drive to measureable results in solving customer issues
? Conduct value stream mapping events and lean baselines for productivity improvement, cycle-time reduction opportunities in alignment with E&T and enterprise/productivity project objectives and Lean Product Development practice
? Assist engineering teams in quantifying results of improvements, including assistance with financial reviews
? Support CMMI effort by providing maturity best practices guidance, reviewing program artifacts, providing project management oversight/support as needed;


Basic Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operation, supply chain management, or other technical discipline
? 8+ years’ experience working in or supporting Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain, or Business functions
? Minimum of two (2) years of working with leadership teams
 
Additional Qualifications:
? Black Belt or Lean Expert certification preferred
? Previous experience with engineering product development, quality or operation group preferred
? Program Management practitioner or certified PMP is a plus
? Desire to learn, improve, and deploy cultural changes that will enhance product development
? Proven ability to influence others to drive organizational change with cross-functional experiences
? Excellent written and verbal English and presentation skills
? Ability to communicate and work with multiple organizations through the use of excellent interpersonal skills.
