With the fast growth of aviation industry and relevant business in APAC region, currently HTS China Aero is looking for a HUE Leader to lead and develop the current HUE team to implement global/local Human Factor and User Experience related projects, and promote HUE culture in APAC Aerospace product design. This leader will also be responsible for understanding and collecting in-country regulatory and local customer’s requirements from HUE perspective, and meeting those requirements by conducting HUE design aligning with global strategies. This position requires extensive collaborative interface with local customer, partners, and global HUE team, cross-functional organizations including in-region business & program teams.
Responsibilities of this position includes, but not limited to:
- Lead user experience design on major Aerospace projects, work with other design leads across Aerospace businesses and with our network of external design partners.
- Create and execute user-centered designs for Honeywell APAC Aerospace products and
services that differentiate our brands in the marketplace around the world.
- Collaborate with design leaders to define roadmaps for next generation user experiences and design strategies.
- Support user experience design through training and mentoring of both technical and non-technical employees, and across a variety of HF application projects.
- Apply expert knowledge of Human Factors discipline and Honeywell/Industry standards, processes and tools in order to complete and ensure compliance of various projects.
- Interact with a strong network of Human Factors leaders and experts across other
Honeywell Aerospace sites.
- Lead in-country regulatory requirements analysis as a subject matter expert related to
Human Factors.
- Develop and support business development activities, to include creation and review of quotation estimates for programs.
- Participate in recruiting, developing and managing user experience design resources in
China.
Reporting Relationship
This Program Manager will directly report to the HTSC Aero HOS Gold Leader, and matrix report to global HUE Leader.
Basic Requirements:
? Bachelor degree in Human Factor Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Psychology or a related user experience design discipline.
? Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in Aerospace or a related industrial field.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of User Experience/Human Factors skills across a broad set of applications.
- Deep understanding of key UX practices, with strong business acumen and customer focus.
- Experience in design thinking/user centered design.
- Experience with aviation and aircraft systems preferred. A pilot license would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork attitude.
- Leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of industry standards (FAA, RTCA, ARINC, SAE).
- Ability to lead in a flexible environment with changing priorities and assignments.
