1. Achieve all financial and growth targets of Greater China Travel Retail:
Responsible for growing the business by achieving Net Sales and SAM targets.
Ensures realization of monthly Net Sales targets and management of DME spending
Responsible for the Profit and Loss of the business unit.
Plans and executes yearly business plans.
2. Achieve market share objectives in Greater China Travel Retail:
Achieve targets relating to distribution and merchandising visibility
Responsible for the listing of core brands and investment against these brands according to agreed business plans
Launch all agreed travel retail innovation instore and invest appropriate support behind each
brand.
3. Build excellent collaborative partnerships with all key accounts and distributors:
Apply Hershey’s capabilities to build and develop Joint Business Goals for key accounts and distributors
Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts and distributors measured against Joint Business Goals
Leverage distributors to optimise market penetration and in-store visibility
Create operational effectiveness, manage distributors and key accounts profitably, ensure inventories are kept at a healthy level
Seize opportunities to build network to drive growth
4. Excellent in retail execution:
Work with Customer Marketing to develop compeling and effective consumer promotions
Execute with excellence on all consumer touch points with impactful displays
Ensure prominent brand visibility in all stores and in accordance with merchandising standards
Execute effective seasonal programs. Be the “seasonal expert”
Develop partnerships with accounts and lead in category management.
Train retailers’ promoters and staff on how to sell and merchandise Hershey’s. Roll out training program.
Develop incentive plans for promoters to maximize push for Hershey’s.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:
? Languages: Fluent English & Mandarin (oral and written).
? IT Skills: Excellent PC skills in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
? Personal Skills: Excellent Planning and Execution Skills, Proactive and positive nature, Action oriented, Mature Business Sense, Self sufficient with multi tasking abilities, Self starter with pride in personal performance, Should love travelling often, Self reliant and can work alone or away from office
? Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal and motivational skills, strong leadership and team building skills
? Others: Proven account management and negotiating skills, strong Finance understanding
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Be specific with regard to years of experience, special training, applicable degree (or critical college level courses), as well as equivalency to education and experience.
Education: College graduate preferably in Marketing/ Finance/ Business Management courses
Experience:
Have commercial maturity that comes with at least 4 years experience in Distributor/Key Accounts Management in a fast moving consumer goods company. Experience in Travel Retail would be preferred. Ability to speak Mandarin is a must. Korean or Japanese is added advantage. Importantly, possess cultural awareness appropriate to the region. Have the ability to create and inspire energy for their plans and ideas to cut through a complex environment to make things happen. Be thorough and analytical, understanding and evaluating the profit impact of their actions. Be passionate about our company and our brands and hungry to succeed.
