Job Aim
To propose solutions to MOE and None-MOE schools that support learners to improve learning efficacy;
To drive sales growth in assigned territories meeting monthly/yearly financial targets;
To contribute to business innovation by collecting and analyzing learners’ unmet needs;
Responsibilities (measurable in terms of time, cost, quality or quantity)
1. Responsibility Business Development and Negotiation
a) Analyze territory market opportunities, identify key target customers, and build database of contacts. English relationships with potential customers, initiating contacts and/or following up on leads provided by other staff members (managers, sales reps, etc.)
b) Define specific client needs and propose plan to meet needs. (objective, target population, budget, specific products and services, delivery time line.)
c) Draft initial P&L and agree proposal offer with Learning Solution Manager that meets strategic, financial and academic goals.
d) Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients.
2. Responsibility Sales and marketing
a) Meet monthly/yearly financial target
b) Ensure creating and implementation of territory promotion plan in coordination with China marketing strategy on increasing market share and market leadership
c) Develop sales plan, including lead generation, tracking and follow-up, and ensure training of staff as needed.
d) Keep abreast of and evaluate competition and products to ensure we maintain a competitive advantage in the market.
e) Execute a CRM strategy that ensures the smooth administration and delivery of products or services (in line with customer service).
f) Manager distribution channel in assigned territories to ensure distributors’ deliver service in good quality to schools.
g) Proactively develop end user presence and maintain centralized database;
3. Responsibility Finance
a) Financial planning: Execute business planning cycles for assigned territories;
i. Yearly business review and planning, pipeline activity
ii. Monthly/weekly reports to Learning Solution Manager
iii. Ad hoc financial planning as needed.
4. Responsibility to business unit
a) Monthly reports to line manage as requested above;
b) Actively support other product lines to seek across-product services to customers;
c) Make sure that line manager is aware of business issues in a timely manner;
d) Work closely and build mutual trust with Product Line of Business to innovate solutions fitting schools’ unmet needs.
Qualification
Qualification Requirement and Preference
Requirements:
a) At least 3-years successful experience of sales planning and execution in B2B environment, experience in education section and multinational company preferred
b) Communicate in English/Chinese in business professional level; Professional email writing in English is required and fluent oral English preferred.
c) Well organized, systematic thinker and executer
d) Able to work without supervision
e) A faster and eager to learner
f) Supportive team worker
g) Willing to travel
Preference:
a) Experience in education section, especially in school or ELT section, preferred
b) Experience in school section (K-12) or ELT preferred
c) Experience in multinational companies preferred
d) Oversea study/working experience preferred
