Job Description
·Produce training materials for in-house courses.
·Manage the delivery of training and development programs.
·Qualify and retain vendors, and develop a process to also qualify and quantify the performance of our internal trainers.
·Evaluate training and development programs - ensure accuracy, clarity, appropriateness, and consistency of training products.
·Amend and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment.
·Build and maintain a tracking structure to support and measure sales training progress.
·Serves as a member of the Global Sales Academy Team and assists with creation of training plans for new training offerings.

·A mature, confident manager with very strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), excellent leadership and teambuilding abilities that are utilized at all levels of the organisation.
·A strong facilitator of the best thinking teams can generate, which results in innovative, pragmatic solutions to business challenges.
·Solid organisational and project management experience with the ability to develop strong support for change.
·Demonstrate solid negotiation, collaboration, and coaching skills.
·Manage vendor relations and productivity and work with vendors for value creation.
·Ability to communicate with all levels of Leica employees, handle multiple priorities simultaneously, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines and make sound objective business decisions. ·Robust problem solving and analytical skills backed by solid computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, internet, etc.).
Requirements:
·B.S. or B.A. in Training and Development, Human Resources or other related field. MBA is preferred.
·Minimum of 7 years of teaching and/or training experience with at least 5 years experience managing a training function, and no less than 3 years of delivering sales training.
·Experience in Medical Device, Life Science Research, Pharmaceutical, or Biotech Industry is preferred.
·Successful sales experience is beneficial.
·Knowledge of adult learning principles, and the development of sales and leadership curriculum.
·Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of 20%.
·Ability to assess business needs and training priorities.
·Develop and manage appropriate business metrics.
·Strong facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills.
·Excellent organisational and project management skills.
·Ability to work independently, communicate with all levels of Company employees, handle multiple priorities simultaneously, work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines and make sound objective business decisions.
·Ability to quickly build relationships to gain support with internal groups and customers.
·Strong initiative and drive for results - Proven success in achieving business results.
