Job Description & Responsibilities


  • The responsibilities of the National Selection Senior Officer will include but not exclusive to:
  • Support National selection manager on collecting feedback on and reviewing prior year selection process and the effectiveness of the assessment tools and approach to identify improvement areas for the new year
  • Support on collecting and reviewing business talent requirements and developing a selection process that will identify the best talent whilst delivering the best candidate experience possible
  • Deliver and support internal and external campus recruitment communication plans on the predefined selection process
  • Work closely with the other regional team members and LoS HRs to ensure all messages, processes aligned and connected where possible to deliver a consistent experience for all stakeholders
  • Support on developing assessment materials in both English and Chinese and providing training on the assessment process and tools to all stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors to keep oneself updated with the assessment market and technologies and identify opportunities to leverage up-to-date technology and other enablers to deliver business strategies
  • Maintain an assessor database for each region and make strategic plan for the assessor skills training to ensure adequate assessors are trained each year, and update the training content according to new selection process with L&D and also work with regional team to coordinate the resources required to deliver the training


Reporting structure & key relationships


  • Report to the National Selection Leader
  • Maintain strong working relationship with the Campus Recruitment team, the HC Branding and Communications team and various HC functional teams
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development teams on training and development initiatives
  • Manage relationships with the business, vendors and academic staff


Requirements


  • Bachelor degree in Psychology, HR, Marketing, or Business related discipline
  • Minimum four years of experience in a corporate environment, preferably in an MNC or professional services firm
  • In depth understanding of the universities and students’ expectations of preferred employers
  • Strong logic thinking and data analysis skills to be able to translate the complex information into business insights
  • Ability to communicate with peer groups and management in a proactive and effective way, able to present in front of higher levels of audiences in a confident and professional manner.
  • Good project management skills to ensure a timely delivery
  • Good business sensitivity and client orientation to be able to develop commercially focused solutions
  • Ability to manage vendors and ensure the level of service provided is as agreed
  • A good team player with strong people and also ability to work independently without supervision
  • Good English and Chinese writing and editing skills with close attention to detail, strong simplified Chinese writing skill is essential
  • Proficient in MS Office particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Experience with using Lotus Notes is desirable
