Project Specialist – eAuction
Description

Position Purpose

Provide a wide variety of both Data and Program Management services within the EMS HGR Sourcing COE. This person will lead the Development and Implementation of a new streamlined Sourcing Process which will lead the Global / Regional Commodity Managers, Buyers, and Quality team to obtain best in class pricing from our vendors.

Principal Accountabilities

? Lead EMS HGR COE e-Auctions team to meet/exceed e-Auction Goals
? Work with business process owners to develop new organizational roles to fulfill the “To-Be” business processes
? Educate EMS HGR COE process leadership on the benefits of the “To-Be” design and the change implications for their organization
? Execute the redesigned business process in the new ERP system during deployment Solution Validation phase to confirm that business requirements have been satisfied
? Take initiative and assume leadership to make decisions to drive to the best business process and keep projects moving forward to meet committed milestone dates
? Work with EMS HGR COE process owners during the deployment process to ensure business ownership throughout the program
? Be able to interact directly with other Sourcing COE’s to ensure common/best practices for e-Auctions are shared and executed on across all groups
? Be a champion of the Process Excellence solution and assist in change management activities
? Learn the SAP and Ariba system to the standard required and ensure that knowledge is effectively transferred to other users
? Excellent time management, multi-tasking skills and organizational skills
? Results driven, yet highly team-oriented
? Ability to work in a matrix environment
? Ability to deal with ambiguity
? Ability to operate effectively in a multi-cultural, global environment working with a variety of ACS business layers
? Ability to analyze large volumes of information and define “the big picture”
? Ability to work collaboratively with IT staff through the design and build of new business processes
? Ability where needed to drive down into the detail of application use and get hands on with the system

Skills and Competencies

Basic Qualifications:
? 4 year bachelor’s degree required
? 3 year experience in Sourcing required
? Experience with the implementation of ERP systems (preferably SAP) to support business processes
? e-Auction experience
? Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
? Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate at all levels in the organization
