About the job
The Polycom PCTC Infrastructure is committed to build comprehensive platform and cloud services to support Polycom video and voice endpoints and industry standard endpoints for professional video and content collaboration service registration and subscription. The Infrastructure team develops cloud-based Video as a Service (VaaS) offering which complements and expands Polycom’s on-premise, hosted and managed collaboration options, giving organizations the flexibility and scalability customers need to tailor a solution for their unique business needs.

We are looking for a passionate and talented individual for a cloud-based software developer position. The candidate will be at the forefront of Cloud technologies with interactions across the Polycom engineering teams and cloud computing experts. The candidate will work on Polycom Cloud service data analysis, extend to data mining algorithm research, participate in face recognition and machine learning study.

Responsibilities
? Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
? Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
? Acquire data from multiple data sources and maintaining data analysis systems
? Dive into complex real-world face recognition to produce innovative face analysis models
? Collaborate with experts to do research on machine-learning and computer vision to accelerate the development of Polycom next generation conferencing solution
? Perfect the knowledge and expertise in the big data ecosystem to build efficient and scalable solutions
? Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements
? Master degree in Computer Science with specialization in machine learning, or Artificial Intelligence
? Preferably working experience in the same field
? Proficient in C/C++
? Proficiency in Caffe is a big plus
? Other programming languages (Python, Java, Ruby, Torch) are a plus
? Good understanding of big data concepts and knowledge of big data languages/tools such as Hive, Pig, or Spark
? Scientific thinking and ability to invent
? 2+ software development experience
? Ability to quickly learn new technologies, be able to complete the design work independently
? Fluent verbal and written English communication skills is a plus 举报 分享
