Polycom Unified Communications Solutions（统一通信整体解决方案）为适应企业用户对音视频会议应用场景需求的不断提高，公司研发部门正在向公有云，企业云及混合云迁移，许多传统的部署于企业内网的on-premise运行的服务将会部署到企业云和公有云上并互联。除了提供优质的音视频会议，和内容协作，关注用户的体验成为产品和服务的一个重要指标。运营云上服务可以收集到更多的关于系统服务状况，用户使用习惯，会议规模，参会人员分布等等大量的数据，通过挖掘数据，分析数据，可以为提供客户弹性服务，优化服务流程，降低花费等提供依据。通过机器学习，配合运营监控，系统可以自动按照运行状况智能的弹性扩展。团队正在开发这方面的功能业务，欢迎有经验的加入。
  
Position: Senior Software Engineer
Responsibilities
 Looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will help design and create platform services that are scalable and performant.
 o Work closely with the team (product owner, designers, and other developers) to produce the system dataflow design and extensible product platform architecture, provide guidance and direction for component and framework choices for the application
 o Explore, understand, and implement most recent technologies and approaches for highly distributed, multi component backend system
 o Contribute in a hands-on capacity to the design and coding efforts, work collaboratively with designers and developers to successfully deliver the product, ensure smooth running of critical services
 o Create, manage, and track projects with detailed project plans
 o Communicate project status, issues, and results to internal and external stakeholders
 o Create excellence both in terms of results quality and system scalability through continuous evaluation, analysis, and refinement of the system implementation
 o Solve complex integration issues
  
Requirements
 o Bachelor degree or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent
 o 4+ years of working with scalable distributed systems and service oriented architecture in Linux environment
 o In-depth understanding of fundamental algorithms, object-oriented programming and design patterns
 o Proficient in C/C++/Java and scripting languages, and capable of picking them up quickly
 o Excited about building and developing high throughput, low latency cloud-based services and applications
 o Practical knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle
 o Enjoying working in a fast paced and agile development environment
 o Motivated to drive tasks to completion and takes initiative to own projects
 o Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive
 o Fluent verbal and written English communication skills is a plus.
 o Experience with front-end technologies or mobile application development is a good plus.
