Title：Project Manager

Department: PEC- PA

Location: Shanghai

Reporting Line: Project Center Manager

Responsible for providing projectmanagement services during pre-sales and post-order stages for major projects.Generate project execution plan, organize and manage project resources, or actas advisor for the successful completion of complex or major project orders.Assist in promoting uniformity of standards across the region, performingproject audits and developing PM’s skill-sets and best practices.

Responsibilities:

1) Acquiresfunctional knowledge and understanding of SE solutions and customers’requirements, in particular for those projects that he/she is managing.

2) Participatesin pre-sales activities to provide project management support services; such asrecommendations for project team organization, schedule, execution plan,sub-vendor selection, costing review, risk analysis / mitigation and customerclarification meetings.

3) Ensuresthat project orders are transferred and accepted from Sales team to projectteam in accordance to prevailing procedures, including contract review.Establish project baseline budget, which is accepted by sales team &approved by Project Operations management.

4) Duringthe post-order stage, act as the project team leader to implement projectorders in accordance to SE commitments as per the project contract terms;organize and manage resources, schedule, quality, and customer relationship& expectations to achieve project targets that are set forth by themanagement.

5) Forthe purpose of performance measurement, key project targets are set as follows,subject to changes as advised by management from time to time

6) Regularlyupdates cost-to-complete, VO opportunities, cash flow and margin projection.Notify Project Operations management should there be significant changes tofinancial landscape of the project.

7) Actsas the focal point for communication with customers and 3^rd partiesfor project related subjects. Represent Company interests in all negotiationsregarding scope and terms of work with customer & vendors alike.

8) Organizeregular meetings with project team, vendors and customer to discuss progressand issues. Provide minutes of meetings and generate monthly project statusreports.

9) Preparesand updates overall project schedule regularly; highlighting significant changesto Project Operations management.

10) Systematicallyreview and update risk analysis and mitigation plan on a monthly basis,highlighting significant changes to Project Operations management.

11) Ensurestimely and accurate invoicing to, and payment of invoices by customer. Workwith finance team to ensure project receivables are current. Also managesproject cash flow to the best interest of the Company.

12) Systematicallymanages project scope, document changes / deficiencies against customerrequirements and provide resolutions to scope changes in a timely manner.

13) Ensuresthat project is completed, and signed-off by customer. Thereafter, issue aclose-out report, including lessons learnt and then transfer projectdocumentation to Field Services operations for future support.

Profile preferred:

l Atleast Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related field. Candidate with PMPcertification has added advantage.

l Minimum10 years experience in automation or related industry in a project engineeringenvironment. Experience in technical resource/contracts management isadvantageous.

l Automationproject implementation, planning & scheduling, contract management, teambuilding, co-ordination, risk management.

l Goodcommunication & interpersonal skills. Ability to manage customer. Must bedecisive and assertive.

l Proficientin MS Office package, Project Scheduling Tools

l Goodat English both in orally and written
