What is the job about?
You will be responsible for handling and driving a customer portfolio of global consultants and contractors, active within the Water Utility sector, to increase revenue and share of wallet. In addition, you support local sales organisations in winning Water Utility projects. You also support the local sales organisations in identifying projects and building relations to all major stakeholders from the earliest possible time in the project stages. You maintain a clear focus on the strategic development of individual accounts and secure the operational information for specific accounts are up to date.
A big part of your job is to build up a network and relations with new accounts as well as produce/negotiate Framework Agreements. As such, you propose and evaluate new additions to the global portfolio for the business segment and provide the portfolio evaluation and business plans to the selected Global Account Portfolio. Moreover, you initiate and monitor progress across the portfolio. As you will be building relations with stakeholders and be part of implementing initiatives, this job will take you travelling 60-100 days per year.
“Building a strong network takes time, so you need to be focused and know that your work takes a long-term perspective. Sometimes you even start from scratch making it a challenge. But the reward is a large, global network and thorough knowledge of the customer organisation,” Henrik says.

What do you need to apply?
You preferably have a technical or engineering background with solid technical understanding within Water Utility combined with 10+ years of experience within project sales. You possess a well-developed business understanding, e.g. sales and negotiation skills on an executive level, both internally and externally. Moreover, you know how to structure and present a business model/approach to different environments, cases, cultures etc. You speak and write English fluently. Apart from English, additional languages are a plus.
