Responsibilities:
HRS Opex Leaders are responsible for applying all aspects Six Sigma Plus principles to HR Services to improve quality, speed, and productivity. Opex Leaders will be expected to apply their knowledge to direct operational improvements in service delivery and system improvements on initiatives they lead, as well as provide expert support to projects lead by others. They will train and mentor others on Six Sigma, Lean, & the Honeywell Operating Systsem (HOS). They will work closely with operational leaders and business analysts to ensure measurement systems and metrics are accurate and effective. They will be an independant support to the operational teams, with complimentary goals of driving cost, quality, productivity, cycle time, and customer service improvements for services delivered.
?Support Operations Leaders with continuous improvement of their services ? Lead focused Kaizen events to make spot improvements ? Oversee the effective execution of the RPS / RCCA processes ? Apply Six Sigma Plus (SSP) tools to improve services ? Measure real impact of changes made to services, not just the number of activites performed ? Work with ops leaders, siebel analysts, and vendors where needed, to ensure proper measurement systems are utilized, and reporting is accurate. ? Participant in regular service performance reviews, including monthly operational reviews ? Identify areas for improvement efforts, and drive continuous improvement actions ? Analyze business practices using statistical analyises, trending, and good six sigma & business control techniques. ? Support projects as SSP SME; ensure projects follow good sound rigor and make real performance gains when improving processes ? Identify areas for breakthrough changes to service delivery; create business case for change ? Perform the duties of an HOS subject matter expert, Lean Expert, & Six Sigma Blackbelt, including coaching, mentoring, & developing Six Sigma / Lean talent across HRS. ? Conduct Six Sigma, Lean, and HOS training; mentor teams and individuals through Green Belt level certifications ? Provide technical expertise in HOS, Lean, and Six Sigma; lead by example ? Deliver formallized Lean, SIx SIgma, and HOS training. ? Lead HOS global foundational implementations, and support the full scale deployment at operational hubs, where being implemented. ? Support Rapid Problem Solving & Kaizen improvement activities, Leadership Standard Work, and all other HOS elements implemented in standard manner across HRS globally. ? Drive best practices globally ? Work with other SVX Leaders to ensure consistent standards are kept globally, and that best pratices
are leveraged across HRS. ?Maintain SSP and HOS global standards for HRS
Qualifications:
? Must possess a Bachelors degree; engineering, finance, business, IT, HR or related discipline. MBA or advanced degree preferred. ? 5-7 years experience in a Six Sigma, Quality, or similar support organization; processes improvement in service/administrative areas is a plus. ? Previous management experience, or PM experience, preferred. ? Experience in using Six Sigma, Lean, HOS methodologies to improve processes. ? GB certification required. Expert level Six Sigma Plus certification preferred; ability to achieve expert level in 1-2 years in role required in lieu of certification. ? Strong Leadership and global influencing skills ? Good communication skills (spoken, written, & presentation) at all levels of the business ? Good managerial skills (coaching, mentoring, performance management, adherence to operating systems) ? Ability to conceptualize business needs and translate them into results ? Strong partnering skills; ability to work effectively in a global matrixed organization ? Excellent business analytical and problem solving skills ? Knowledge of HRS transactional and administrative processes is a strong advantage. ? Strong analytical skills; ability to assess business performance, use metrics to develop business cases, and distinguish measurment vs real issues. ? HR Services experience preferred ? Experince with Honeywell Operating System (HOS) preferred ? Competency in modern computing technology required (MS Office tools, Outlook, Lync, Access, SharePoint) ? Exposure to Access and Minitab, helpful ? Knowledge of Project Management methodology, prefered. ? Ability and experience challenging the status quo - effectively yet tactfully. ? Strong team player, able to think in broad terms, & identify creative solutions. ? Self-motivated and committed to project assignments ? Must be fluent in English language
