Daniel Wellington’s Business Controlling team is developing and we are looking for a new talent. As an Assistant Business Controller APAC you will be located in the APAC Head Quarter in Shenzhen China and report to our Business Controller APAC. We are looking for a career-aspiring Junior Business Controller who is ready to grow within the organization and eventually become an integral part of the Management Team. WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO

Support Business Controller APAC in growing Daniel Wellington APAC organization in terms of e-commerce sales, retail sales and profitability.

Proactively support with analysis, projects, reports and development – turning numbers into actions – always with the focus to drive sales, profitability and business growth.

Analyse and monitor short-term (daily/weekly/monthly) KPIs, as well as driving long-term business strategy and organizational optimization projects, including 3-5 year plans.

Persistently manage a range of different tasks under time pressure including routine reports, deep data analysis, and cross-functional and cross-office ad-hoc requests.

Build, design and maintain reports in Excel and Tableau for cross-functional departments.

WHAT YOU’RE GREAT AT

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with high degree of self-motivation and determination. You’ll be given plenty of responsibility from day one, and with excellent self-leadership skills you see what needs to be done, and you do it. We are looking for someone who is leaning forward and possess a developed analytical skill with high integrity. You find it easy to see the whole and can make the complex simple. You are fluent in Mandarin and English. Cantonese is a plus.

You will play an important role within your area’s Management Team. You are responsible for the whole process – from analysis and setting targets to follow-up and profitability. No matter if you manage and monitor financial control systems for your business area, or develop and implement methods, systems and decision-making

We believe that you have a MSc or BSc in Business / Management / Engineering / Computer Science or other relevant field.
You are either a fresh graduate or have 1-2 year’s experience from business analysis and/or controlling in e-commerce and/or retail.

You have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced changing environment and to build strong relationships across the business.

You are hard-working, self-driven, and are not afraid to go the extra mile (and put in the extra hours) to get the work done.
You have a passion for big data, deep analysis and are familiar working with Microsoft Excel. Knowledge in Microsoft Access, VBL and SQL is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is important for this job as your colleagues are spread across Hong Kong, Sweden, US, the UAE and India.
