Description :
The role of a Commodity Buyer is to structure the building of a supplier panel for one or more commodities and ensure the overall productivity of the panel. The main missions of the role are to:
？ Structure the building of the panel: participate in the definition and the implementation of the purchasing panel policy for assigned commodities, manage supplier selection according to Group criteria
？ Panel management: ensure a regular follow-up of the supplier performance in relation with the Supplier Quality Assurance Manager and implement a supplier¿s reduction plan consistent with Divisions and in coordination with the Business Groups
？ Manage the global suppliers productivity in relation with plant buyers
？ Develop and implement tools to improve global productivity
？ Negotiate and implement general agreements with the main suppliers
？ Ensure the utilisation of the panel by program and plant buyers
？ Ensure the reporting of his or her activities following defined policies 举报 分享
