Role Summary:
The User Experience Lead will have regional responsibility over ensuring the team’s design principles (Craftsmanship, Delight, Accessibility and Performance) are met for all of Global Commercial Solution’s digital products and services. Through a variety of creative problem solving skills, they will advocate best in class standards for our customer facing digital properties.
The lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams, designing how cutting edge technologies will touch our customer’s journey. They will also be responsible for helping to execute design workshops and Hackathons to advance digital concepts.

Global Commercial Solutions’ User Experience Designers are responsible for ensuring the highest quality digital products to meet our customers’ needs. This hybrid role requires a variety of skills throughout a project from testing early concepts to designing beautiful interfaces for a wide range of business challenges. The UX Lead will also be responsible for ensuring that solutions are tailored for individual country’s cultural and business requirements.
Major Responsibilities include:
oUX/UI craftsmanship, with demonstrated mastery of best in class practices for web-based digital, native mobile, hybrid and emerging technology experiences.
oGathering insights to develop an understanding of customer’s need and motivations and incorporate Pfizer’s business objectives, to create a well-rounded journey.
oExpertise in designing various use case scenarios through low fidelity flows, wireframes and prototypes using Sketch and Proto.io or similar design applications
oCreating beautiful high fidelity user interfaces that are engaging and accessible for our wide range of users, and design assets that can be used for production by our engineering team.
oAbility to work with a wide variety of stakeholders to present work or facilitate conversations requirements gathering. This includes partnering with agencies, critiquing and providing feedback on designs to ensure the highest quality deliverable for engagement and accessibility.
oEvangelist of design thinking methodology, and ability to make strong contributions during workshops. Experience working in design sprints, quickly iterating to get to stakeholder sign off whether as part of a Hackathon or Design Studio.
oMaintain our design system of best practices for different platforms. This includes creating intuitive patterns, reusable components, delightful interactions, and detailed style guides. Ensure availability and application of these artifacts within the Business Technology (BT) organization.
oManage consulting/contractor staff in execution of UX activities for assigned projects.
Work seamlessly within our cross-functional delivery teams of innovators, analysts, designers, architects and engineers. Act as a subject matter expert for BT during meetings with customers and business partners.
