About Tax

Tax and regulatory issues are on top of the mind for many companies operating around the world today. As a tax professional, you'll help organisations and individuals to maximise their tax efficiency and manage their tax risks. You'll achieve this through the advice you give to your clients on conducting proper tax planning, and helping them to fully meet their tax compliance obligations.

Taxation in a fastpaced business environment is exciting and intellectually stimulating. To meet the challenges, you'll need to constantly develop your tax knowledge and research skills. As you progress, you'll likely become specialised in certain specific areas of tax and/or industry segments.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with a team of technical support specialists to support end users on a daily basis
• Act as the frontline support to end users in China and HK; liaise with tax technology team, internal IT department, and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Ensure incoming support asigned met the agreed SLA
• Work closely with tax technology team, internal IT department, and external vendors on product customisations and enhanced product features
• Coordinate and carry out software testing and user acceptance test
• May need to design and develop product customisations using product API

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science or related technical fields
• Minimum 2 years IT related work experience
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, able to understand complex business problems and recommend technical solutions
• Experience in supporting and customising off-the-shelf products (document management system, content management system, email management system, etc.) or SharePoint
• Vendor management experience with overseas vendors is a must
• Knowledge in system administration and support in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Lotus Notes, Document Management System, .Net applications, etc.
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English as well as Putonghua is essential
